About The Position

CareOne is hiring a Culinary Service Director for CareOne at Brookline in Brookline, Massachusetts. The Director will oversee culinary services in a long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, LTACH, and sub-acute care setting. CareOne’s signature dining program aims to provide residents with healthy, enjoyable meals through personalized menu choices, tableside cooking, and other dining experiences. The role involves using purchasing systems, menu programs, software, and dietary department financial reports; maintaining compliance with applicable regulations; and collaborating with the team to meet residents’ nutritional needs and support special events and daily activity programs. The stated salary range is $75,000–$90,000, with compensation based in part on experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, and work schedule.

Requirements

• ServSafe certification.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Food/Culinary Service Director in a long-term care or sub-acute environment.
• A desire to serve others.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Dietary Manager certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use purchasing systems, menu programs, and software, and read and understand financial reports associated with the Dietary Department.
• Meet applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Partner with other team members to meet residents’ nutritional needs.
