About The Position

CareOne is hiring a Culinary Service Director at CareOne at Brookline in Brookline, Massachusetts. The role supports the organization’s signature dining program, which aims to make residents’ dining experience healthy and enjoyable through personalized menu choices, tableside cooking, and other services. The director oversees purchasing systems, menu programs and software, financial reporting associated with the Dietary Department, regulatory compliance, and coordination with team members to address residents’ nutritional needs and support special events and daily activity programs.

Requirements

• ServSafe certification.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Food/Culinary Service Director in a long-term care or sub-acute environment.
• A desire to serve others.
• Thorough knowledge of, and commitment to meeting, federal, state, and local regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Dietary Manager certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use purchasing systems, menu programs, and software, and read and understand financial reports associated with the Dietary Department.
• Meet applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Partner with other team members to meet residents’ nutritional needs.
• Provide services for special events and daily activity programs.
