The NYC Department of Finance (DOF) is responsible for administering the tax revenue laws of the city fairly, efficiently, and transparently. The Treasury and Payment Services Division oversees all City payment websites, tax return processing, property recording forms, parking violation programs, and delinquent account collection. It also manages the City’s cash balances, banking relationships, and collects outstanding violations. The Treasury Division manages over $135 billion in annual City cash flows, funds City payrolls and vendor payments, secures collateral for bank account balances, maintains relationships with 29 banks, serves as the fiduciary of approximately $195 million in court funds, and supports the NYC Banking Commission. The Treasury is seeking a Director of Court Assets to oversee all operational activities within Court Assets. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
