About The Position

As a Content Marketing Director you will take complicated insurance and Medicare topics and translate them into plain English that anyone can understand. For our senior audience, we want to make Medicare easy and simple. For our agent audience, we want to empower them with resources they can actually use—whether that's marketing materials, product updates, or insights about market changes. Let’s talk job responsibilities: Content Planning & Strategy Manage content calendars Research keywords and plan content that drives organic traffic and leads Track what's working and adjust the strategy accordingly Writing Write and oversee regular blog posts, including weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly publications. Create educational content such as how-to guides, training resources, and lead magnets like downloadable guides and checklists. Develop and send email newsletters and announcement emails for product launches, carrier updates, webinars, and other company news. Update and maintain website content, including new product and carrier pages, announcements, and quarterly or annual changes. Write and schedule social media posts, promotional copy, and event listings to support marketing campaigns and webinars. Ghostwrite content for company leadership as needed to support strategic messaging. Ensure all content is SEO-optimized, prioritizing SEO on the B2C side to maximize organic traffic and lead generation. Website & Digital Management Update websites with new content, quarterly incentives, and annual Medicare changes Make sure all content is SEO-optimized and user-friendly Respond to blog comments Events & Webinars Create event listings and promotional materials Write copy for seminar marketing Promote webinars and training sessions Compliance Maintain HPMS certification to submit materials to CMS Ensure all content meets Medicare marketing regulations Stay current on compliance requirements and answer agent questions about compliance Your experience and skills: Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or a related field 6+ years of marketing leadership experience in agency or corporate settings. Requirements
