The Office of Compliance, part of Human Resources, is led by the Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The Director of Compliance and Title IX Coordinator reports to the AVC and CHRO, with a dotted line to the Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Operating Officer. This role provides strategic leadership and oversight for the UT Health Science Center's compliance with federal and state civil rights laws and University policies against discrimination, harassment, and related conduct. The Director manages the department's budget, ensuring efficient use of human and financial resources. The Office of Compliance oversees and implements the UT Health Science Center's mission to comply with Title IX, Title VII, Title VI, ADA, Section 504, and other civil rights regulations and policies. The Director ensures a coordinated, fair, and legally compliant institutional response to reports and complaints handled by the Office of Compliance across all UT Health Science Center campuses.
