Under the general direction of the Interim Associate Vice President, Human Resources Management, and reporting to the University President and the Associate Vice Chancellor for Civil Rights, the incumbent is the senior administrator responsible for implementing the CSU's Nondiscrimination Policy and coordinating compliance with incorporated laws, including Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the VAWA/Campus SaVE Act, Section 504 of the Vocational Rehabilitation Act, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination Act, and other applicable state and federal laws which prohibit Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, Sexual Exploitation, Dating Violence, Domestic Violence, Stalking, and Retaliation. The incumbent shall be the University's Title IX Coordinator/DHR Administrator and shall have authority across all campus-based divisions and programs (e.g., Human Resources, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Athletics, Housing, University Police, etc.) to monitor, supervise, oversee, and ensure implementation of the Nondiscrimination Policy in all areas.
