California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State LA) is seeking an Executive Director of Civil Rights and Title IX. This Administrator III position reports to the Interim Associate Vice President, Human Resources Management, and also to the University President and the Associate Vice Chancellor for Civil Rights. The incumbent is the senior administrator responsible for implementing the CSU's Nondiscrimination Policy and ensuring compliance with various federal and state laws, including Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, VAWA/Campus SaVE Act, Section 504, ADA, and the Age Discrimination Act. This role involves preventing and addressing Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, Sexual Exploitation, Dating Violence, Domestic Violence, Stalking, and Retaliation. The Executive Director will serve as the University's Title IX Coordinator/DHR Administrator, with authority across all campus divisions to oversee and ensure policy implementation.
