About The Position

Community Interactions, Inc., has been making a difference in the lives of others since 1971. We are seeking a Director of Clinical Services to lead and strengthen clinical services for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and complex behavioral needs. This position combines clinical leadership, staff development, quality improvement, admissions support, and organizational collaboration. The Director provides leadership and oversight of Clinical Services while maintaining a limited clinical caseload. As a member of CI’s Leadership Team, the Director works across departments to promote high-quality, person-centered behavioral services, strengthen staff competency, and expand our ability to support individuals with increasingly complex needs.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Counseling, Rehabilitation, Special Education, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field required
  • 3–5 years of progressively responsible clinical or behavioral support experience serving individuals with IDD
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting adults with IDD
  • Professional licensure or credential in a relevant clinical discipline (e.g., BCBA, Licensed Behavior Specialist, LPC, LCSW, or another license/credential recognized by ODP for Performance-Based Contracting (PBC) clinical staff) is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including supervision, mentoring, team leadership, or clinical lead experience
  • Strong knowledge of Positive Behavior Support, person-centered practices, and behavioral assessment
  • Strong clinical judgment, data analysis, organizational, project management, and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout PA and DE
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check, review of driving history, physical, TB Screening, and drug testing is required.

Nice To Haves

  • BCBA, PA Licensed Behavior Specialist, LPC, LCSW, or comparable clinical credential preferred
  • Experience with complex behavioral needs, PA ODP/waiver services, PBC/quality improvement, or admissions/referral review preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead Clinical Services and supervise, mentor, coach, and develop clinical staff
  • Maintain a limited clinical caseload focused primarily on complex behavioral support needs
  • Provide clinical consultation for complex cases, behavioral assessments, intervention strategies, and Behavior Support Plans
  • Support admissions through clinical assessment, referral review, risk identification, and transition recommendations
  • Develop and improve clinical systems, protocols, training, and competency processes
  • Monitor clinical quality, outcomes, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner across Operations, Admissions, Quality Management, HR, and Leadership to strengthen staff competency and organizational clinical capacity
  • Promote Positive Behavior Support, person-centered practices, and effective implementation of clinical recommendations
  • Support Performance-Based Contracting (PBC) and other organizational quality and performance initiatives
