About The Position

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Clinical Services to lead hospice operations and the clinical team. The role oversees day-to-day operations, supports exceptional patient and family care, maintains regulatory compliance, develops the clinical team, and contributes to the organization’s continued growth and success. The ideal candidate brings hospice leadership experience, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to lead people and operations strategically.

The Director leads hospice operations and clinical services, ensures regulatory compliance and survey readiness, advances quality improvement and operational excellence, and mentors the team. The role also supports the organization’s mission, vision, and values while partnering with regional leadership on staffing, budgeting, operational planning, and strategic initiatives. The Director drives growth and community engagement through strong partnerships, interdisciplinary collaboration, and attention to the needs of patients, families, and the community.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state(s) of practice.
• Strong organizational, strategic, analytical, and project management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.

Nice To Haves

• 5 or more years of healthcare experience preferred, with hospice experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee hospice operations and clinical services, ensuring exceptional patient and family care and high standards of quality and compliance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness while driving quality improvement and operational excellence.
