About The Position

The Director of Clinical Services provides leadership and strategic planning of the clinical services and programs offered at the facility, ensuring programs meet the needs of the community and the facility's performance goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the overall administrative processes and management systems for all clinical services offered at the facility, promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, and development and implementation of clinical treatment programs. Provides direct supervision for clinical and recreational therapists.

Requirements

Master's degree in social work, Clinical Psychology or related field.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting with child and adolescent populations including experience in program development and implementation.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience supervising and coaching clinical staff.
Current State of Texas license as a LCSW or LPC required.
Licensed as Child Care Administrator under TDFPS.
Current driver license.
A strong knowledge of The Joint Commission regulations and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and analytical skills.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
