Director of Cardiovascular Services
About The Position
Career Land Center is hiring for a Director of Cardiovascular Services for a 380+ bed acute care facility in Thousand Oaks, CA. It is the only Level II Trauma Center in East Ventura County. You will lead the operations, quality and strategy of all cardiovascular departments, and the Cardiac Cath Lab Manager reports to you. You will report to the VP of Operations and partner with administration, physicians and the Cardiovascular Medical Director. Your duties include capital and operating budgets, and maintaining STEMI designation, Chest Pain Center accreditation and Primary Stroke Center designation. Structural heart experience is essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Current California RN license, or ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist certified in California.
- 5+ years in Cardiovascular Services (10 preferred), at least half in leadership.
- Currently serving as a Director of Cardiovascular Services.
- Oversight experience at a facility of 300+ beds.
- Structural heart experience is essential.
Nice To Haves
- Master's (MSN, MBA or MHA) preferred.
