This convenient location provides access to larger communities in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. We work with children and families throughout the United States, including military families overseas. Compass Intervention Center is a free standing residential treatment center open to male and female children and adolescents from ages 10 to 17. Residential treatment, virtual programs, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services are available to male and female adolescents ages 10 to 17. POSITION SUMMARY: The Business Office Director is responsible for ensuring the efficient operations of the Business Office to include an accurate, timely and consistent performance of all functions pertaining to patient accounting (including patient account maintenance, billing and collection management), admissions processing and accounts receivable. Must have healthcare/revenue cycle management experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a multi-faceted business office preferably in a health-care setting, with one (1) year supervisory/management experience preferred.
  • Must have healthcare/revenue cycle management experience.
  • Looking for a great team leader and mentor to staff.
  • Experience with computers and business software programs, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing requirements a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and collections a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the efficient operations of the Business Office to include an accurate, timely and consistent performance of all functions pertaining to patient accounting (including patient account maintenance, billing and collection management), admissions processing and accounts receivable.

  • Management of accounts receivable, i.e., bad debt and cash collections
  • Management for all daily activities of the admitting, billing and collection functions.
