About The Position

LoveShackFancy is seeking a highly creative, culturally connected, and commercially minded Director of Partnerships & Events to lead strategic brand partnerships, sponsorships, experiential activations, and go-to-market planning. This person will have their finger on the pulse of what is culturally relevant across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, music, entertainment, hospitality, social media, and emerging consumer behavior. They will be equal parts relationship-builder, creative strategist, deal-maker, project manager, and executional lead. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, deeply organized, and energized by managing multiple partners, clients, and internal stakeholders at once. They should bring a strong network of market relationships, a proven ability to generate strategic partnerships and sponsorship revenue, and the creative vision to bring LoveShackFancy moments to life in ways that are both brand-building and business-driving.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience in partnerships, experiential marketing, brand marketing, events, sponsorships, business development, or related fields.
  • Strong experience working with external partners, sponsors, agencies, talent, vendors, and multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute complex go-to-market plans and multi-channel partnership strategies.
  • A strong network of market relationships across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment, hospitality, media, and/or consumer brands.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate sponsorship opportunities and strategic brand partnerships.
  • Highly creative with a deep understanding of culture, trends, consumer behavior, and brand storytelling.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients, partners, budgets, and events at once.
  • Meticulously organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of budgets, contracts, timelines, production, vendor management, and event execution.
  • A collaborative, positive, solutions-oriented leader who can work across teams and bring people together.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the GTM planning and execution of strategic brand partnerships, sponsorship opportunities, and cultural collaborations that support LoveShackFancy's brand and business goals.
  • Identify, pitch, and secure new partners across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment, hospitality, media, technology, wellness, and consumer brands to support key marketing initiatives including New York Fashion Week.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, agencies, sponsors, talent teams, venues, vendors, and key industry contacts.
  • Develop partnership concepts that feel culturally relevant, brand-right, and commercially meaningful.
  • Serve as a strong relationship manager and sales-minded leader, able to pitch ideas, negotiate opportunities, and create value for both LoveShackFancy and external partners.
  • Oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of LoveShackFancy events, activations, launches, dinners, pop-ups, press moments, influencer experiences, and partnership-driven programming.
  • Translate creative ideas into actionable event plans, timelines, budgets, workstreams, and deliverables.
  • Ensure every event reflects the LoveShackFancy world with exceptional attention to detail, elevated storytelling, and flawless execution.
  • Manage multiple events and partnerships at once while maintaining clarity, organization, and momentum across all projects.
  • Lead cross-functional GTM planning for key partnerships, collaborations, launches, and events.
  • Partner closely with digital marketing, social, PR, creative, retail, e-commerce, merchandising, wholesale, legal, finance, and operations to ensure all teams are aligned.
  • Build comprehensive project plans that include objectives, timelines, partner deliverables, marketing moments, content needs, press strategy, retail integration, budget, contracts, and post-event recaps.
  • Anticipate needs, remove roadblocks, and keep complex projects moving from concept through execution.
  • Bring fresh, innovative, and culturally relevant ideas to the table across partnerships, events, sponsorships, and experiential marketing.
  • Understand the LoveShackFancy customer and how to create moments that resonate with her emotionally, socially, and commercially.
  • Stay ahead of trends, talent, cultural conversations, emerging brands, platforms, and experiences that could inspire future partnerships.
  • Balance big-picture creative thinking with the ability to execute beautifully and efficiently.
  • Manage event and partnership budgets with precision, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial parameters.
  • Oversee contracts, scopes of work, partner deliverables, timelines, vendor agreements, and recaps in partnership with legal and finance teams.
  • Track sponsorship revenue, partner contributions, expenses, and ROI.
  • Maintain meticulous organization across documents, decks, timelines, budgets, contracts, approvals, and post-event reporting.
