Gallery Media Group includes women’s lifestyle brand PureWow, the iconic fashion and style brand Coveteur, and a collection of social-first media brands, such as @cocktails on Instagram and TikTok that reach over 200M consumers. Additionally, GMG has an expansive experiential arm rooted in Gallery Houses—a fusion of social content, creators and cultural moments at scale—as well as a robust influencer marketing business. The company was founded in 2010 by CEO, Ryan Harwood and is now part of VaynerX, the Gary Vaynerchuk-owned holding company. We are seeking a Director of Brand Partnerships - CPG & Spirits for our New York City/Chicago office. We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 5-8 years digital media sales experience with a top performance record. This person should be a well established and trusted source within the category. The role requires a strong attention to detail and a passion for innovation within publishing/tech and social.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the modern media ecosystem, including social, creator, content, experiential, and commerce-driven solutions.
  • Consultative seller who leads with business challenges and marketing objectives
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and the ability to identify opportunities
  • Strong executive presence and comfort engaging senior marketing leaders including CMOs, VPs of Marketing, and agency leadership.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex organizations and build relationships across brands, agencies, and holding companies.
  • Minimum of 5 years digital media sales experience
  • High energy level and strong self-motivation
  • Pulse on culture
  • Fast learner

Nice To Haves

  • History of working at a Publisher or Influencer agency preferred

Responsibilities

  • Managing the sales cycle from start to finish
  • Increasing awareness of GMG among the advertising community (agencies & client-direct) to generate and grow new business
  • Prospecting and penetrating medium to large size organizations
  • Developing effective sales strategies for continued growth
