About The Position

The Director of Admissions and Market Strategy is responsible for driving return on investment related to resident growth, with a focus on attracting new admissions and supporting resident retention across all facilities and lines of business. This position is accountable for achieving census goals by guiding strategic marketing efforts, supporting facility Marketing Directors, contributing to action plan development, and monitoring goal progress. By analyzing local market trends, this role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that optimize each facility’s market position and drive admissions performance, as they are ultimately accountable for the direction and business results of facility census. In addition, this position collaborates with facility leadership teams to ensure that model rooms and overall campus presentation meet brand and resident standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relatable field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years working in healthcare field

Responsibilities

  • Strategize with facility Marketing Directors and Administrators to develop and implement strategic marketing plans that further establish our brand within the communities we work, resulting in referrals.
  • Provide oversight and report resident satisfaction; partner with appropriate leaders on action plans for areas identified as needing improvement.
  • Provide consultation and training to facility Marketing team members and establish objectives to promote and maintain census; assist, when appropriate, with facility operations to ensure the admission process and marketing plan is executed, to include coverage during a Marketing Director vacancy.
  • Actively participate in facility/campus marketing meetings; provide support to and hold facilities accountable to ensure the execution of developed plans/strategies.
  • Assist in the oversight and management of the facility marketing budgets; to include collaboration efforts with each center to ensure the plans align with desired outcomes and return on investment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Regional Manager of Brand and Digital Communications, the Regional Manager of Culture and Community Engagement, and the Director of Employee and Resident Engagement to create content to be used with referral sources as well as potential future residents.
  • Ensure the successful completion of Market Analysis data; act on competitive market analysis and trend recognition to continually modernize and improve strategy to ensure a proactive approach in growing/maintaining census.
  • Partner with team and facility leaders to develop relationships within each community we work, serving as an additional point of contact for referral sources for all lines of business.
  • Provide oversight to large community events, provide on-site tours and assist with open house events; be the tour expert and ensure consistency across facilities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Business Office and Revenue Cycle to oversee payer source contracts and reimbursement rates, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulatory and financial standards.
  • Function as a marketing and admissions resource to the facilities and corporate teams; review and provide guidance on referrals that are high acuity in medical, psychosocial, or other socioeconomic need; ensuring we can provide the care necessary.
  • Ensure our facilities are aesthetically pleasing, meeting company brand expectations; provide oversite on model rooms, again, ensuring they meet expectations.
