About The Position

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented leader to oversee operations, quality, and safety for inpatient and/or residential programs. In this role, you will shape the systems that support high-quality care for children and families—ensuring compliance, strengthening teams, and fostering a culture where safety and compassion come first. This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role that blends operations, quality assurance, and mission-driven work.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Ability to obtain: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) within 6 months
  • Ability to obtain: Facility Manager certification within 18 months
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and training
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead through change

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience with quality assurance, compliance, or healthcare operations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide inclusive, respectful leadership across multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and maintain systems that support quality care, compliance, and safety
  • Ensure all facility operations meet or exceed regulatory standards (TJC, KDADS, CMS, and other accrediting bodies)
  • Oversee documentation accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Lead internal quality assurance processes and review performance reports
  • Manage contracts, audits, and licensing requirements
  • Coordinate grant applications and reporting processes
  • Oversee building operations, maintenance, equipment, and supply management
  • Chair the Safety Management Committee and champion a culture of safety
  • Monitor staff training and medical record compliance; implement improvement plans
  • Support staff development, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless communication and operations
  • Participate in vendor negotiations and purchasing decisions
  • Represent the organization in community forums
  • Provide on-call leadership support as needed
