About The Position

This role provides administrative oversight of multiple medical clinical departments, offering strategic leadership and administrative oversight across all areas of responsibility. The Director will supervise nursing and clinical staff, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice and collaborating with physicians, providers, and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience. The role also involves overseeing departmental budgeting, resource allocation, staffing models, and scheduling for efficient operations, as well as ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Additionally, the Director will serve as a mentor, advocate for professional development, and lead initiatives to improve patient safety, satisfaction, and access to care in inpatient and outpatient pediatric services. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing corrective actions are also crucial. The position aims to create a positive working environment that promotes employee engagement, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, while also acting as a hospital/system liaison to the community.
