About The Position

The Director of Marketing Operations drives operational excellence in marketing and advertising process management, financial oversight, performance tracking, and marketing technology optimization for Exelon and its operating companies (OpCos). The role leads change management and supports process optimization, workflow efficiency, marketing communications technology and tools, budget and resource analytics, marketing performance measurement, and customer insights, segmentation, and analytics. It also advises on campaign messaging for themes including reliability, safety, storm readiness, outage management, and digital adoption, supporting a consistent customer experience across regions while accommodating each OpCo’s needs. The Director works within the Business Services Company (BSC), rather than any individual OpCo, and provides a company-wide perspective. The role reports directly to the BSC VP Corporate Affairs, with dotted-line reporting to OpCo VPs of Marketing & Communications. It has significant decision-making authority over budgeting, campaign priorities, and analytics, oversees budget management, collaborates with each OpCo, and manages relationships with a creative agency of record and a media-buying partner.
