About The Position
The Director, Laboratory Services leads laboratory operations and requires strong generalist laboratory knowledge and skills across the core laboratory, microbiology, and blood bank. The role works collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and involves communication with hospital team members, physicians, patients, and community professionals. Experience with CAP accreditation is expected, and experience overseeing phlebotomy is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, medical laboratory science, or a related science.
- Certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
- Seven years of laboratory experience.
- Five years of leadership experience.
- Strong generalist laboratory knowledge and skills, including core lab, microbiology, and blood bank.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.
- Interpersonal communication skills to work with hospital team members, physicians, patients, and community professionals.
- Experience with CAP accreditation.

- Experience with phlebotomy oversight.
