About The Position

Neo is entering a new phase with a strong product and a sharper brand, and for the first time, has a meaningful budget for marketing. This role is crucial for building the execution backbone to ensure marketing investments are effective. The position involves building an integrated marketing function from scratch, setting the direction for campaign execution across the marketing organization. It is a highly impactful practitioner role with significant scale and stakes, rather than a management position. The marketing team consists of 19 people, with broader campaign execution involving a larger group. While performance marketing is a strength and brand is being rebuilt, integrated marketing is the gap this role will fill. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the direction set for campaign execution, channel connection, and brand presence will shape the output of a larger team. This role is critical as Neo plans to significantly increase its marketing spend, and the organization needs to execute effectively to maximize this investment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in marketing with hands-on campaign execution across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated experience at consumer-facing companies with high brand standards.
  • Track record of running integrated campaigns from brief to results, not just overseeing them.
  • Genuine brand sensibility; ability to assess creative work and protect its quality.
  • Ability to connect the dots between strategy and execution.
  • Experience working at companies where the marketing bar was high.
  • Cross-channel campaign experience (digital-only or brand-only backgrounds are not sufficient).
  • Based in Canada.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo a security screening, including a criminal records check and a credit check.
