About The Position

Unity is seeking a Director, Integrated & Content Marketing to lead critical marketing functions. This role is for a leader who can build and manage a high-output content engine and lead integrated marketers responsible for executing campaigns. The director will oversee integrated marketers aligned to Unity's business units (Industry, AI, Games, and Grow/Ads), content marketers, case study writers, and editors, driving content operations. Responsibilities include campaign strategy, content production, and performance accountability. This director-level role offers significant scope to define functional operations and is accountable for results. The position reports to the Sr. Director, GTM Marketing.

Requirements

  • At least seven (7) years of experience in content marketing, integrated marketing, or a combination of both — with at least three (3) years in the gaming industry or a closely adjacent developer tools or prosumer SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated experience building content programs and marketing operations at scale — not just campaigns, but repeatable systems and infrastructure across B2B and B2C
  • A track record of leading integrated marketing teams with accountability for pipeline — you understand how content and campaigns connect to business outcomes
  • Strong analytical instincts — you set measurable goals, track performance, and use data to decide what to build, cut, or double down on
  • Fluency in AI SEO and LLM optimization — enough to be a strong partner to our SEO specialist and make informed editorial decisions based on their guidance
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted content workflows — you've used automation tools and AI writing systems, and know how to apply them thoughtfully at scale
  • A history of leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams — integrated marketers, writers, editors, and ops-focused roles — with clear accountability structures
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling instincts, with the ability to maintain quality standards across a high-volume content operation
  • Proficiency in content management systems, SEO tools, and analytics platforms
  • Sufficient knowledge of English to have professional verbal and written exchanges in this language since the performance of the duties related to this position requires frequent and regular communication with colleagues and partners located worldwide and whose common language is English.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team spanning integrated marketers (aligned to Industry, AI, Games, and Grow/Ads BUs), content marketers, case study writers, and editors — setting direction, raising the bar on quality, and building a culture of ownership and accountability
  • Evolve the integrated marketing function: your IMs aren't just campaign strategists — they're content producers responsible for developing and publishing the assets that drive their BU's pipeline
  • Build and scale a content production engine: editorial calendars, briefing systems, review workflows, publishing pipelines, and QA standards that sustain high output without sacrificing quality
  • Define content strategies for integrated marketing and demand generation campaigns in close partnership with Product Marketing
  • Partner with our AI SEO specialist to translate keyword research and LLM optimization signals into a prioritized content roadmap and production plan
  • Use data to run the function — set measurable goals, track performance across content and campaigns, and bring regular reporting and insights to senior leadership
  • Explore and implement AI tools and automation workflows (Claude Cowork, Jasper) to increase throughput while maintaining brand voice and accuracy
  • Oversee production of high-quality content across formats — case studies, articles, ebooks, videos, webinars, social posts, and marketing collateral — in service of company goals
  • Collaborate with Comms, Brand Studio, and other marketing teams to align content with key campaigns and ensure consistency across channels
  • Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to leadership across Unity's Ads, Game Development, Industry, and AI businesses
