About The Position

Marcon is seeking a strategic and operationally focused Director, Information Technology to lead the company’s enterprise technology function across Construction and Development operations. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for driving technology strategy, operational excellence, cybersecurity, enterprise platforms, analytics, and AI adoption across a rapidly growing and highly integrated business. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a technology leader who thrives at the intersection of business operations and digital transformation. The successful candidate will lead Marcon’s evolving IT ecosystem while ensuring technology investments directly support scalability, efficiency, collaboration, and long-term competitive advantage. The Director, Information Technology will oversee enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments, cybersecurity, SaaS platforms, analytics capabilities, and emerging AI initiatives while building a disciplined, service-oriented IT function that enables teams across the organization to operate effectively and efficiently. This role is primarily based in our Head Office in Langley, BC, with occasional travel to Marcon’s Downtown Vancouver office.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience including senior leadership responsibility
  • Strong expertise across cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and IT operations
  • Experience leading enterprise technology strategy and operational IT service delivery
  • Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies including Azure, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI
  • Experience managing ERP, CRM, HRIS, and enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Strong understanding of AI and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled workflows and automation
  • Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing IT teams
  • Strong business partnership and stakeholder management capability

  • Experience within real estate development, construction, or related industries is considered an asset
