The Paley Center for Media is the world’s leading 501 (c)(3) nonprofit cultural institution dedicated to preserving media history and exploring its influence on culture. It owns the iconic New York Paley Museum, which hosts programs for the public and industry, celebrating television, digital content, interactive entertainment, and convening influential business leaders to discuss industry issues. Through its Paley Impact series, it educates on media's cultural and societal impact. The Paley Center houses the Paley Archive, a national treasure with over 160,000 programs spanning 100+ years, serving K-12 educators and students. Founded in 1975 by William S. Paley, it was formerly known as The Museum of Television & Radio. The Paley Center for Media is seeking a temp-to-perm Director, Industry Membership who will drive the overarching strategy and execution of industry membership acquisition initiatives. This role involves developing innovative approaches for expanding industry partnerships and enhancing the company's presence. Key priorities include establishing and nurturing high-level industry relationships, identifying strategic collaborations, and leading initiatives to position the company as a thought leader. Strategic planning and execution are integral, requiring a proactive approach to industry engagement and promoting the value of the company's offerings to all stakeholders.
