Director, Growth Marketing

Intellum, Inc.

About The Position

The Director of Growth Marketing owns Intellum’s qualified pipeline target and the strategy, relationships, and execution needed to achieve it. This hands-on senior leader creates top-of-funnel demand and converts it into qualified pipeline, using leading indicators to make performance predictable and direct time and budget toward what is working. The role manages one Sales Development Representative. Agentic AI and automation are central to the function. The Director builds and operates growth workflows using tools such as Claude, Clay, and n8n, connected through MCP and APIs, to help qualified pipeline and revenue growth outpace investment. As Intellum’s go-to-market execution lead, this person works closely with the CMO, Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Audience & Content, and Customer Marketing. The position is remote-first, requires work across multiple U.S. time zones, and involves occasional travel for company events and customer meetings.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in B2B SaaS demand generation, growth, or revenue marketing, selling to enterprise buying groups with multi-month sales cycles.
  • Personally built agentic workflows in Claude, Clay, n8n, or through MCP and APIs that run parts of a go-to-market team’s work; able to demonstrate them and explain their impact.
  • Built pipeline through events, partners, original research, or customer advocacy, with qualified-pipeline and cost-per-opportunity results; measures demand beyond last touch.
  • Led multi-channel go-to-market campaigns built with Sales, with teams delivering on one timeline.
  • Built a growth function at an early stage before a playbook existed and can explain the sequencing of that work.
  • Able to set direction from day one, lead discussions with executives, invite challenge from Sales, Product Marketing, and leadership, and use feedback to improve plans.
  • Able to map pipeline-plan dependencies, including data, tracking, routing, and sales capacity, and identify what must be in place before investment.
  • Understands and can explain conversion performance at each stage of an enterprise funnel, including personal results.
  • Has run enterprise ABM more than once and adapted the approach based on earlier results.
  • Experience managing SDRs or a similar role, measured on pipeline quality and quantity.
  • Uses paid media precisely, such as LinkedIn targeting against priority accounts, and validates platform results against CRM data.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Grew a demand or growth function at a private-equity-backed SaaS company moving into larger enterprise deals.
  • Experience in learning technology, customer education, HR tech, or enablement software.
  • Built expansion, cross-sell, or referral programs with Customer Marketing.
  • Presented pipeline performance to private-equity operating partners or a board.

Responsibilities

  • Own the quarterly qualified-pipeline target in opportunity count and dollars; track leading indicators weekly, adjust targeting and investment, and report results and investment recommendations to executives.
  • Build and run agentic growth workflows in Claude, Clay, and n8n, connected through MCP and APIs, to automate account research, enrichment, scoring, routing, and follow-up; experiment with buying signals and action ownership.
  • Create top-of-funnel demand from priority accounts through events, partner co-marketing, original research, and customer advocacy in collaboration with Audience & Content and Customer Marketing; measure target-account engagement, self-reported attribution, and resulting pipeline.
  • Lead account-based marketing as an enterprise growth motion, running 1:1, 1:few, and 1:many plays with Sales and measuring buying-group engagement, opportunity creation, and deal velocity.
  • Lead multi-channel go-to-market campaigns with Sales, coordinating team plans and aligning SDR focus to the same accounts.
  • Improve conversion from first engagement to qualified opportunity by testing offers, personalized landing pages, and routing.
  • Direct outside spend, use paid media to reach priority accounts efficiently based on CRM-verified pipeline, and manage contractors and agencies supporting creative, web, and analytics.
  • Manage and coach the SDR; align with Sales on qualified-opportunity criteria; set account-research and handoff standards; and measure accepted opportunities.
  • Launch major programs with a hypothesis, baseline, tracking plan, and scale-or-stop decision rule; pair attribution with cohort analysis and holdout tests, and share results with the team.
  • Travel occasionally for company events and customer meetings and work across multiple U.S. time zones.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
