About The Position

The Director, Growth Analytics will lead analytics for the Growth and Placement areas of Acrisure’s North American Insurance (NAI) business. This is an applied leadership role focused on turning data and models into decisions that improve how the business wins, places, and retains business. The director will build and lead a team that delivers analytics tied to measurable revenue and placement outcomes and scales those capabilities across the business. The role owns the growth and placement analytics agenda, from sizing opportunities through measuring realized impact. It involves translating ambiguous business problems into practical analyses, models, and tools; applying advanced analytical methods; embedding analytics into operating workflows; communicating findings to audiences with varying technical backgrounds; and developing the team, processes, and training needed to expand analytics across the organization. The position is based onsite in Austin, Texas, with an expected in-office presence four days per week.

Requirements

10+ years of work experience in data analytics or adjacent quantitative fields, such as Analytics, Strategy, Business Operations, or Finance.
3+ years of direct people management experience.
Able and willing to work onsite in Austin, Texas, four days per week.
Track record of taking analytics from concept to production and demonstrating measurable business impact.
Strong business acumen, including the ability to decompose real-world problems, build financial models, and assess business implications.
Knowledge of analytics approaches that drive growth and comfort using advanced methods to drive revenue.
Ability to contribute directly while developing people and team capabilities.
Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly and concisely to audiences at all levels.
Ability to prioritize competing demands and operate effectively in an unstructured environment.
Ability to build trust with internal stakeholders and partners, with empathy and a team-first attitude.
Ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment with limited day-to-day oversight.

Nice To Haves

Financial services experience.
Hands-on experience with Palantir (Foundry or similar) to build and deploy operational, decision-oriented analytics.
Experience in insurance, brokerage, or financial services, especially in sales, distribution, or placement analytics.

Responsibilities

Own the analytics agenda for growth and placement in North American Insurance, from sizing opportunities to measuring realized impact.
Translate ambiguous business problems into clear questions and deliver analyses, models, and tools for producers, placement teams, and leaders.
Apply predictive modeling, segmentation, experimentation, and optimization to improve revenue growth, carrier and market placement, win rates, and retention.
Embed analytics in operating workflows and track the business impact of each deployment.
Translate findings for audiences at all technical levels and set up tools and monitoring to guide execution.
Develop expertise in Acrisure’s business drivers and the integrated choices that optimize performance.
Partner cross-functionally to align priorities, gain buy-in on approaches, and measure impact.
Manage intake and evaluation of gaps and opportunities, set priorities, and manage the roadmap with key stakeholders.
Build and lead a high-performing team and establish operating processes that allow it to remain agile as it grows.
Develop training for team members and stakeholders and enable effective self-service.
Serve as a domain expert to keep technologies and analytics processes future-proof.
