About The Position

Ornua is seeking an FP&A & Commercial Finance Director to join their organization as they continue their growth trajectory. This position will play a key role in driving profitable growth by providing strategic financial leadership, forward-looking insights, and commercial decision support across the Foods Americas business. The role involves ownership of financial planning, performance management, and commercial finance activities for Ornua Foods Americas, directly influencing strategic decision-making, pricing and portfolio optimization, and long-range growth planning. The contributions will help ensure disciplined execution of strategy, strengthen cross-functional alignment, and enable Ornua to continue delivering strong, sustainable results while supporting the cooperative mission behind their iconic brands.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Category Finance, or related roles
Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance management
Strong commercial acumen with experience influencing pricing, portfolio, and investment decisions
Experience supporting innovation, new product launches, or channel expansion strategies
Proven people management experience leading and developing high-performing teams
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders

MBA and/or CPA
Experience within CPG, food & beverage, or multi-channel consumer businesses

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted finance partner to the Foods Americas Leadership Team, providing forward-looking insights and decision support.
Translate strategy into financial plans, scenarios, and performance metrics to support both short- and long-term growth objectives.
Lead financial evaluation of strategic initiatives, including new categories, channels, customers, and product launches.
Own the annual Budget, quarterly Forecasts, and 5-Year Strategic Plan for the Foods Americas business.
Oversee delivery of all FP&A outputs, including P&L and KPI forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting.
Lead consolidation of the Foods Americas P&L and provide clear variance analysis to senior leadership.
Model and assess customer and product profitability to guide portfolio and pricing decisions.
Partner with Sales and Marketing on pricing strategy, trade spend management, and promotional effectiveness.
Evaluate financial impact of innovation.
Own volume and trade spend forecasting models and ensure alignment with commercial plans.
Lead, develop, and mentor an FP&A and Commercial Finance team across North America and LATAM.
Establish clear objectives, performance standards, and development plans to build a high-performing finance team.
Champion continuous improvement and process automation.
