Director, Finance

The Director of Finance at Redpanda will be responsible for leading all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and strategy. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role will play a key foundational role in the finance team and will be a trusted partner to senior leaders across the company. The Director of Finance will drive informed decision making, optimize financial performance, and support Redpanda's growth initiatives by providing actionable insights and recommendations. This position will also involve leading the annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, as well as attracting, hiring, and developing the Finance team as the company scales.

• Develop and lead the annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish financial targets and KPIs
• Prepare detailed financial models and scenario analysis to support business decisions
• Partner with the Accounting team in the month end close process
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for leadership team and Board of Directors
• Attract, hire, and develop the Finance team as the company scales
• Identify gaps and implement financial planning systems
• Lead strategic finance projects including fundraising, strategic investments, and other ad-hoc projects

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related field
• 10+ years progressive experience in financial planning and/or finance related experience, preferably in SaaS
• Experience with financial planning systems, such as Adaptive Insights or Anaplan
• Experience navigating NetSuite and Salesforce
• Experience leading in a rapid growth, startup environment
• Desire to roll-up your sleeves, prioritize work, execute plans, and drive deliverables

• Competitive base salary range of $180,000 - $200,000 (CO, TX) and $190,000 - $220,000 (CA, NY)
