About The Position

The Director, Platform and Integration provides enterprise solution architecture, platform architecture, and integration leadership across AIA’s digital products, Salesforce, and Association Management System (AMS) platforms. Reporting to the Managing Director, Digital Products Development & Operations, this role serves as an architectural interface among AIA Technology, business stakeholders, implementation teams, vendors, and third-party technology providers. The director designs and guides solutions that connect Salesforce and AMS platforms with digital products and other enterprise and third-party applications, while ensuring enhancements follow platform best practices and align with AIA’s broader technology architecture and integration strategy. The role leads integration architecture and technical solutioning across enterprise platforms. It assesses business and technical requirements, develops scalable and secure integration approaches, evaluates platform capabilities and proposed changes, identifies risks and dependencies, and promotes reusable architecture and integration practices. The director also supports platform roadmaps, upgrades, modernization initiatives, and complex cross-platform issue resolution. Working with product, engineering, QA, DevOps/SRE, security, data, vendor, and business teams, the director provides architectural guidance through discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support. The position communicates technical options and tradeoffs to varied audiences, coordinates with vendors and external consultants, and advises leadership on major platform and integration decisions. The role has no supervisory requirements and is 100% remote from the Washington, DC area.
