The director is expected to establish a clear baseline of the funnel within the first 90 days, identify and prioritize customer losses, improve blended CAC and payback, and create a documented testing cadence. The role is hybrid and based in quip’s DUMBO, Brooklyn office two days per week. The anticipated base salary is $170,000 to $190,000, in addition to competitive benefits and equity as applicable. Compensation may vary based on factors including location, role-related knowledge, experience, and skills.

Requirements

  • Experience managing managers or senior individual contributors.
  • A quantitative operating style, including modeling and sizing opportunities before pursuing them and defending analysis.
  • Fluency with Meta and Google Ads managers, Klaviyo or a similar platform, GA4, and at least one BI or attribution layer.
  • A track record of identifying where AI-powered tools can improve team output and putting those tools into practice.

  • Define creative volume and variety needs for paid and lifecycle marketing, and collaborate with content and creative teams on performance.
