About The Position

Bounteous is hiring a Digital Transformation Consultant to lead strategic advisory engagements in the telecom industry, focusing on digital channel shift, personalization, and digital B2B growth. The role owns the strategic point of view for client-side digital transformation programs, translates data and business metrics into executive-level narratives, and remains involved through implementation and adoption. The position advises clients on digital growth priorities, identity and fraud-risk architecture, personalization, customer journeys, and offer design. It works with delivery and technical teams to make recommendations executable, oversees adoption of new digital capabilities, communicates performance and investment decisions to senior stakeholders, and identifies opportunities to expand client engagements. Bounteous is a global AI Services firm with more than 5,000 team members worldwide. The company designs, builds, and scales AI-driven products, platforms, and processes, and is backed by New Mountain Capital. This role also has information security responsibilities, including promoting security practices, identifying risks, and helping ensure data protection and privacy compliance.

Requirements

  • Consulting pedigree from a top-tier strategy or digital transformation firm, preferably at Engagement Manager, Senior Manager, or Principal level or above.
  • Experience advising clients on areas such as B2B identity/authentication modernization, digital versus assisted-channel shift economics, multi-touch attribution models, and API-based partner monetization.
  • Experience delivering personalization transformation to individual user-level segmentation, rather than only account- or cohort-level segmentation, with implementation completed on compressed timelines.
  • Track record of engagements extending through implementation oversight rather than ending at strategy recommendation and handoff.
  • Personal accountability in at least one engagement for accelerating client-side adoption of a newly deployed digital capability.
  • Ability to independently surface and prioritize a client's strategic opportunities mid-engagement, supported by specific client examples.
  • Strong command of telecom/CSP client economics, including ARPU/ARPA modeling, retention/churn analysis, and digital channel-mix economics, sufficient to independently build and defend a board-level financial narrative.
  • Working knowledge of telecom monetization and commercial models, including API/partner integration, platform and ecosystem monetization, data-as-a-service, and usage-based or consumption pricing.
  • Executive-grade presentation and reporting skills, including structured governance decks and board-level communication.
  • Business and financial modeling skills, including ARPU/ARPA, churn/retention, and digital channel-mix economics.
  • Knowledge of experimentation and analytics tooling, including A/B testing platforms, SQL, and dashboarding.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct engagement experience with a telecom, cable, or CSP client across funnel optimization, identity, personalization, and digital-channel transformation.
  • History of expanding an existing client relationship's scope or commercial value as a direct result of delivered engagement work.
  • MBA or advanced degree.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic point of view on client digital growth priorities, including Net-Adds growth, digital mix, funnel optimization, customer identity, personalization, and API/partner monetization.
  • Advise clients on identity and fraud-risk architecture, including transitions from credit-bureau-dependent identity models toward network- or API-based identity signals.
  • Lead personalization transformation engagements toward individual user-level segmentation on compressed timelines.
  • Design customer journeys and offer architecture, including user-directed experience models and segmentation and experience design.
  • Translate business and financial data, including ARPU/ARPA trends, retention, and digital channel mix, into narratives for executive- and board-level audiences.
  • Prepare and defend performance assessments, roadmap decisions, and investment tradeoffs under questioning from senior client and business leadership.
  • Partner with delivery and technical teams to ensure recommendations are executable and realistically sequenced against organizational and technical constraints.
  • Own adoption velocity for newly deployed digital capabilities, including AI, personalization, and digital channels, and course-correct when adoption lags the plan.
  • Serve as a senior client-facing advisor and build credibility with client digital, marketing, and strategy leadership.
  • Identify and prioritize strategic opportunities within existing client relationships and convert engagements into expanded commercial scope.
  • Drive quarterly and annual strategic roadmap cycles with client leadership; design and facilitate executive workshops to pressure-test priorities, realign plans to target KPIs, and hold programs accountable for outcomes.
  • Promote and enforce awareness of information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols.
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks and their impact on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information.
