The Director, Data Analytics leads the development and execution of data strategies that drive business insights and operational excellence. About the team: The team empowers Walmart Real Estate by enabling swift, data-driven decisions through advanced analytics and robust data strategies. Experts in data quality, visualization, and business intelligence collaborate across functions to identify key data sources, ensure data integrity, and translate business requirements into actionable insights. They apply statistical analysis and big data techniques to address complex challenges, leveraging innovative tools and methodologies. Requirements
- Extensive experience in data strategy, data quality management, and advanced analytics to drive business insights and decision-making.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques, including Tableau, PowerBI, and Python libraries, to communicate complex data effectively.
- Strong knowledge of business intelligence, project management, and translating business requirements into actionable data initiatives.
- Expertise in data source identification, data governance, and ensuring data integrity across distributed systems.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor associates, and influence stakeholders through clear, data-driven storytelling.
- Demonstrated capability to evaluate business impact and align analytics strategies with organizational goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 5 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 3 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
- 7 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
- 2 years' supervisory experience.
