About The Position

The Director, Data Analytics & Insights provides strategic leadership for the enterprise Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Reporting platform ecosystem. This leader defines and executes the vision, strategy, governance, standards, and roadmap for analytics technologies that enable trusted, data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.

The role owns the enterprise BI and analytics platform portfolio, including tool evaluation, selection, rationalization, modernization, lifecycle management, and vendor relationships. The Director leads platform transformation initiatives, including migrations and consolidation, and is accountable for services and capabilities that enable efficient development of analytics products, such as semantic layers, governed metrics, self-service analytics, and enterprise analytics standards.

Working closely with business leaders, architects, data engineering teams, security, and technology stakeholders, the Director delivers scalable, secure, governed analytics capabilities aligned with business objectives. The role leads multiple analytics platforms and teams, manages platform investments and operational performance, and drives the enterprise analytics strategy in support of Data & Analytics objectives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Information Technology disciplines, including leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise analytics, reporting, or BI platform teams.
• Proven ability to define analytics platform strategies, roadmaps, governance frameworks, and modernization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of BI and analytics platforms, semantic layers, governed metrics, metadata management, and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Experience leading analytics platform migrations, tool rationalization, and technology transformation initiatives.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated success building and developing high-performing technical teams and leaders.
• Ability to align technology investments and platform capabilities with business objectives and measurable outcomes.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Analytics, or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy, roadmap, governance, and standards for the enterprise Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Reporting platform ecosystem.

• Define platform success metrics, monitor adoption and value realization, and drive continuous improvement across analytics services.
• Leverage industry trends and emerging technologies to evolve the enterprise analytics ecosystem and improve user experience.
• Lead and develop high-performing analytics platform and BI engineering teams, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Manage platform investments and operational performance to ensure effective delivery of analytics capabilities.
