About The Position

The Director, Construction Management & Field Execution leads enterprise construction strategy, standards, and execution governance for capital projects, turnarounds, outages, and complex industrial work. The role strengthens owner-side construction management and contractor performance while improving construction readiness, safety, cost, schedule, quality, and closeout discipline across a multi-site industrial organization. This leader establishes enterprise construction standards, field execution expectations, governance, and owner accountabilities across sites and business units. The position oversees capital projects, turnaround-integrated work, and high-risk field execution; aligns stakeholders across project, operations, maintenance, engineering, procurement, EHS, quality, and contractor organizations; and develops construction management capability through site leaders, project managers, and contractor oversight resources. The role champions safe, compliant field execution and leads construction readiness, planning, execution governance, performance reporting, cost and commercial stewardship, contractor strategy, quality, and field assurance. It works with project management, project controls, and supply chain to improve execution certainty, cost predictability, contractor performance, and business decision-making. The position supervises approximately 2 to 4 direct reports, and up to 10 direct reports during turnarounds. It is office based, with warehouse and refinery environment exposure, travel up to 10% by land or air, and up to 60% of time in a petroleum refinery environment.
