The Kaplan House (Manhattan) provides therapeutic and support services to adolescent’s ages 17-21 who are referred to us through ACS and the Juvenile Justice system. Our residents have experienced significant trauma, resulting in behavioral, emotional, and functional/ development issues. Kaplan House offers an extensive independent living skills program, including vocational preparation, and educational services that assists youth towards reaching independence. The Clinical Director has full responsibility for the ongoing clinical and administrative guidance of the clinical staff. She/He also provided ongoing training, supervision and guidance to the clinical staff. The Clinical Director is the ITM (Integrated Treatment Model) liaison for the program. The Clinical Director is fully familiar with the Regulatory requirements and Agency/ Divisional clinical standards and practice. S/he functions as an internal resource on such matters. The Clinical Director is a senior member of the residential management team. In addition, s/he must provide safe, high quality, programs and adherence to the Jewish Board policies and procedures. In collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team member, the Clinical Director must ensure the integrity of treatment planning processes and maintenance of the highest documentation standards as required by regulations and professional scope of practice.
