Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital offers compassionate, high-quality inpatient and outpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment for teens, adults, and seniors. We provide a full-range of evidence-based medical and clinical services in a state-of-the-art healing environment. Programs include inpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited school of social work is required.
  • A current unencumbered clinical social work license (LCSW) or counseling license is required.
  • In the absence of LCSW credentials, qualification for this position is contingent on the Hospital employing another LCSW per CMS’ Condition of Participation guidelines.
  • CPR certification and Handle with Care within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
  • Previous experience in inpatient healthcare, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous management experience at the Director level preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic and operational leadership for all clinical treatment programs across inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services, including psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment.
  • Ensures the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care through the integration of evidence‑based therapeutic modalities, effective supervision of clinical staff, and oversight of individual, group, and family counseling services.
  • Responsible for discharge planning to support safe and effective transitions of care.
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Ensuring adherence to all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards.
  • In collaboration with the hospital leadership team, supports performance improvement activities, survey readiness, and overall clinical operations.
