Pearl Health
•$165,000 - $200,000

About The Position

Pearl Health is seeking a clinical leader to own the clinical relationship for a portfolio of enterprise ACO clients and drive measurable performance improvement across its value-based care network. The Director serves as a clinical and population health subject matter expert and client-facing performance partner, combining clinical judgment, independent data analysis, and clinician-to-clinician credibility. In partnership with Markets and Customer Success teams, the Director translates performance data into trusted, actionable guidance and helps clients engage in performance improvement work. The role involves analyzing utilization, quality gaps, risk adjustment and coding trends, and cost drivers using internal data sources; leading client performance reviews and deep dives; and developing tailored action plans with client stakeholders. The Director also represents client and clinical perspectives in internal strategy discussions, coaches client teams, and leads workflow discovery to help integrate Pearl's signals into clients' EHR workflows. The position carries responsibility for the quality, cost of care, and risk adjustment outcomes of the assigned client portfolio.

  • Direct, hands-on experience with value-based care and quality management within a VBC contract setting, such as MSSP, ACO REACH, or Medicare Advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare ACO program mechanics, including benchmarking, risk adjustment, quality measure scoring, and shared savings.
  • Working knowledge of EHR workflows and practice operations, including how care teams document, receive alerts, and close care gaps, and ability to translate them into technical integration requirements.
  • Ability to engage physicians and practice leaders as a clinical peer, grounded in real experience delivering care.
  • Track record of building trust with physician and executive audiences and translating clinical nuance into business-relevant, actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to build credibility and partnership in high-stakes client settings, including performance reviews, leadership meetings, and difficult conversations about underperformance.
  • Skill in driving client engagement and follow-through, including with clients who may be resistant to change.
  • Ability to manage a varied portfolio of concurrent client relationships while maintaining quality of attention.
  • Experience partnering closely with account management, customer success, or market-facing teams to present a unified front to clients.
  • Ability to work hands-on with data and independently identify what is driving a client's performance trend without relying on a dedicated analyst.
  • Strong project management instincts and ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workload across concurrent engagements and changing priorities.
  • Direct experience with value-based care performance and quality metrics, such as quality measure scoring, HCC coding and risk adjustment, and total cost of care.
  • Bias toward action and ability to turn analysis into concrete next steps and drive them to completion with clients.

  • Partner with Markets and Customer Success teams on client strategy, co-present in key meetings, and align clinical and commercial priorities.
  • Manage concurrent client relationships and build trust and credibility to sustain client engagement in performance improvement work.
