Director, Clinical Performance and Patient Safety

Eagle Telemedicine•Atlanta, GA
•Hybrid

About The Position

Owns Eagle’s patient safety process and the clinical performance data used for physician review, client reporting, and recredentialing. Responsible for the clinical event record from intake through classification, triage, turnaround, closure, and documentation. Maintains the enterprise clinical policy library and the FPPE and OPPE processes required by clients and the enterprise. Serves as the single intake point for client-raised clinical concerns, regardless of which Eagle relationship first receives them. The role determines whether a clinical event requires escalation, but does not determine physician consequences; those decisions belong to the Enterprise Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer. The Director provides direct leadership and oversight for the Clinical Data Coordinator, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management, and establishes workflows, documentation standards, and turnaround expectations for clinical events. The position administers the Clinical Governance Committee under the Chief Medical Officer as chair; collaborates with clinical, operational, credentialing, and legal teams; supports physician performance review and patient safety initiatives; and aligns clinical safety and performance measures with client requirements and enterprise strategy. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of working in the office three to four days per week, subject to manager approval.
