USAA is seeking a self-motivated, inspirational project management leader to lead their team of dynamic project delivery managers in the delivery of a ~$150M - $200M capital plan. This leader will be responsible for the strategic design, operational leadership, and coordination of engineering, design, and construction functions and initiatives for the Association. They will be responsible for a multi-disciplined team of highly skilled engineering, architectural, and construction professionals, delivering quality, timely and cost-effective renovation, infrastructure, critical infrastructure, real estate expansion, and minor construction projects. These projects are large, mission-critical and technically complex projects which can exceed $70M and includes pre-planning, design, construction, FFE installation, and commissioning of new and existing facilities (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, building control systems, and interior and architectural and engineering design). This leader will identify projects, make project assignments, select and provide leadership to internal and third-party suppliers, establish integrated project plans and schedules, to ensure goals and objectives, included intended functionality are achieved. Manages key deliverables including cash flow, expenses, and schedule adherence. Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. The company offers a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position will be based in San Antonio, TX.
