About The Position

Trusted Media Brands is looking for a Director, Brand Partnerships to join their team. This role is responsible for meeting sales goals and bringing in new advertising partners. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, self-sufficient seller with strong client and agency contacts across various categories, particularly in streaming, digital, video, and social sales. This position requires fostering strong relationships with clients and agencies, working closely with internal teams like marketing, account management, data, and activation. The Director will manage a key account list with significant spending potential across multiple TMB platforms, focusing on categories such as Consumer Packaged Goods, DIY, Pharmaceutical, and Retail. The role reports to the VP, Partnerships and Revenue.

Requirements

  • 8+ years advertising sales & agency experience
  • Bachelor’s degree desired
  • Client-focused seller with strong experience in online/digital media sales
  • Experience selling streaming/social a plus
  • Established relationships with agencies and brands
  • A track record of increasing revenue and breaking new accounts across assigned client lists
  • A self-starter with tenacity and enthusiasm to handle diversified account lists leading to business growth
  • A strategic thinker and organized individual capable of creating strong relationships with clients at all levels
  • Ability to lead in the development of effective proposals/ideas
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to develop strategic and creative solutions for clients
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service and exceeding sales revenue goals

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue that meets or exceeds goals
  • Establish strategic relationships with clients and agency teams in the New York City and select East Coast markets
  • Sell full suite of Trusted Media Brands advertising solutions across Streaming, Social, Digital, Video, Programmatic, Data, Custom Content and Print
  • Use research and insights to develop proactive and requested marketing programs
  • Cultivate relationships to increase business from existing accounts and build new revenue by breaking new accounts
  • Work with the marketing and ad products team to develop strong proposals and proactive ideas for clients based on marketplace needs and client feedback
  • Provide regular reporting and forecasting
