About The Position

The Director of Annual Campaigns leads the strategy, execution, and growth of annual fundraising efforts for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas (BGCD). This role is responsible for driving sustainable revenue through targeted, multi-channel campaigns that deepen donor engagement and expand the organization’s base of support. The Director will oversee BGCD’s signature annual giving initiatives, including North Texas Giving Day, Summer Campaigns, Monthly Recurring Giving Programs, and End-of-Year Giving, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a best-in-class donor experience. This role plays a critical part in advancing BGCD’s mission to enable all young people to reach their full potential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5–8+ years of progressive fundraising or development experience, with a focus on annual giving or campaigns
  • Proven success managing and growing multi-channel fundraising campaigns
  • Strong proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce/MyClubHub preferred) and data analysis
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • CFRE or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with large-scale giving days (e.g., North Texas Giving Day) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive annual giving strategy to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Lead planning and execution of key campaigns, including but not limited to: North Texas Giving Day, Summer Giving Campaigns, Monthly Recurring Giving Program, End-of-Year / Holiday Campaigns
  • Build integrated, multi-channel campaigns across email, digital, social media, direct mail, peer-to-peer, and events
  • Establish campaign calendars, messaging frameworks, and segmentation strategies
  • Design and implement strategies to acquire, retain, and upgrade individual donors
  • Strengthen recurring giving by building compelling sustainer programs and donor journeys
  • Partner with Advancement leadership to engage mid-level and pipeline donors
  • Ensure meaningful donor stewardship, including impact storytelling, recognition, and reporting
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure consistent, mission-aligned messaging
  • Partner with local companies to execute workplace giving and employee engagement campaigns
  • Identify and grow opportunities tied to North Texas Giving Day and other community-wide initiatives
  • Support sponsorship and matching gift strategies to maximize campaign revenue
  • Engage community ambassadors and volunteers in peer-to-peer fundraising efforts
  • Leverage Salesforce (MyClubHub) and other tools to track donor activity, campaign performance, and trends
  • Develop dashboards and reports on key performance indicators (revenue, retention, participation, ROI)
  • Use data insights to refine segmentation, messaging, and channel effectiveness
  • Continuously test and optimize campaign strategies to increase engagement and revenue
