About The Position
The Director, Advanced Capability Development will lead advanced capability development for a flagship fighter aircraft program. The role sets the roadmap for next-generation upgrades and carries initiatives from concept through customer approval and funding. It leads cross-functional teams and supports the growth of development contracts and modernization efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field.
- At least 15 years of experience in aerospace and defense.
- At least 8 years leading programs or technical organizations.
- Track record of growing a development portfolio with government customers.

- Active security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Own the capability development roadmap and align it with customer requirements and budgets.
- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, program management, finance, and business development.
- Shape and win new development contracts and modernization efforts.
- Brief senior executives and government customers on progress, risk, and investment priorities.
- Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team.
