About The Position

Our client Proventus Bioscience is looking for a Production Manager. Proventus Bioscience is a growing biotechnology company focused on manufacturing, operational efficiency, and product quality. We are based in Ville St-Laurent (close to IKEA). Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager helps oversee daily production coordination, quality control, inventory movement, and operational workflow across multiple warehouse locations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing or coordinating within a production facility, manufacturing environment, warehouse, or operations setting
  • Secondary diploma (minimum)
  • Must be fluent in both French and English
  • Forklift experience is considered an asset
  • Access to a personal vehicle is considered an asset - Fuel compensation available when travel between warehouse locations is required
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 kg
  • Capability to perform maintenance tasks that may require bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. (Majority office job)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable using scheduling systems, operational forms, and tracking processes
  • Basic understanding of Word, outlook, excel and adobe
  • Must hold canadian work permit

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily production scheduling and workflow
  • Prepare and organize production order documentation for production staff
  • Learn employee equipment knowledge and production capabilities to help assign and prioritize work orders effectively
  • Organize and maintain production scheduling through TeamUp software
  • Perform live production quality control checks using internal QC documentation and procedures
  • Inspect and verify finished orders prior to shipment using final QC forms
  • Review and verify stock transfers between warehouse locations
  • Assist with ordering operational and warehouse necessities with Operations approval
  • Help maintain organization, communication, and efficiency between production and warehouse teams
  • Support operational improvements and process organization initiatives
  • Additional responsibilities will be added as the role develops.
