About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial relations, administration, or human resources.
  • Five years of experience in a unionized and manufacturing environment.
  • Generalist profile.
  • Coaching skills.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Action-oriented.
  • Mobilizing leadership and teamwork spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and coordinates human resources activities for both plants.
  • Ensures the implementation of various human resources management programs.
  • Responsible for staffing, training, and motivation in accordance with company values and culture, and corporate policies and programs.
  • Ensures the implementation of development plans following the annual performance management exercise for non-unionized staff.
  • Responsible for the administration of both collective agreements for the two plants.
  • Actively participates in the negotiation of collective agreements for both plants.
  • Responsible for the administrative management of health and safety and supports supervisors in their role regarding occupational health and safety.
  • Responsible for training, health and safety, and HR budgets for both sites.
  • Maintains good relations with the union, based on cooperation, to ensure mutual understanding and avoid labor disputes.
