About The Position

ViaQuest Residential Services is hiring part-time Direct Support Professionals to work weekends in Bowling Green, Ohio, and surrounding areas. DSPs support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, fostering independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring individuals’ health and safety. No prior experience is required; training is provided. Pay is $17.25–$18.25 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Motor vehicle record must meet specific requirements, including no OVI/DUI, reckless operation, or speeding violations more than 20 MPH over the posted limit; no more than two moving violations in the last two years or more than five points.
• Reliable vehicle with active insurance.
• Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and assist individuals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting independence, choice, and empowerment while attending to health and safety needs.
• Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in all aspects of their lives.
• Complete household tasks, including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Provide personal care assistance.
