About The Position

Northeast Family Services is hiring part-time Direct Support Professionals to work directly with children, teens, and young adults ages 3–21 who have developmental, social, and emotional needs. The work takes place in clients’ homes and in the community through Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Personal Assistance Services and Supports (PASS) programs. Positions offer 6–20 hours per week, including after-school, evening, and weekend hours. The role is hourly, with compensation of $16.00–$22.00 per hour based on program, education, and experience. A bonus of up to $500 is available after 120 days.

Requirements

Be at least 19 years old for HBTS and ABA, or at least 18 years old for PASS.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to pass DCYF, BCI, and driving-record clearances.
Have valid car insurance and vehicle registration.
Have one year of supervised experience working with children, an Associate’s Degree in Human Services or a related field, or demonstrated competency working with children with special health care needs through the provider agency’s skills validation.
Be able to read, write, and speak English.
Be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.
Have access to secured high-speed internet.

Responsibilities
