About The Position

I Am Boundless, a nonprofit organization serving Ohio for over 40 years, supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Direct Support Professional (DSP), also described in the posting as a Residential Specialist, provides direct programming and/or dietary, laundry, toileting, housekeeping, and other support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The schedule is 24 hours per week: Sunday 10:30 p.m.–8:30 a.m., Tuesday 11 p.m.–9 a.m. at S. Broadview, and Saturday 5 p.m.–9 p.m. Candidates selected for pre-employment screening must complete a background check, drug screen, and applicable health screen.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
Selected candidates must complete a background check, drug screen, and applicable health screen.

Responsibilities

Provide direct programming to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Provide dietary, laundry, toileting, housekeeping, or other support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
