About The Position
The Supported Living Group (SLG) provides non-medical, community-based, person-centered support services throughout Connecticut. Direct Support Professionals assist individuals with disabilities in pursuing independence and personal growth. The role includes helping with household tasks, driving participants to appointments, assisting with personal hygiene, and developing routines that support independence and self-sufficiency. Professionals also teach essential life skills, including grocery shopping and budgeting. Requirements
- Excellent communication skills.
