About The Position

Sevita is hiring a full-time Direct Support Professional to support individuals in achieving personal and developmental goals and participating in their communities. The role involves building meaningful relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend, while helping people pursue interests and activities, attend events, and develop everyday skills.

The Direct Support Professional assists with daily living, including meal preparation, medication, personal care, hygiene, and outings. Some individuals may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with on-demand pay. Full benefits are available to full-time employees working 32 or more hours per week.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; must be able to provide proof.
• Access to a registered vehicle during all shifts to transport individuals.
• Must be able to provide proof of auto insurance.
• Valid driver's license held for at least one year without restrictions; learner's permits and intermediate licenses are not accepted.
• Successful clearance of background checks.

• Build meaningful connections and serve as a trusted mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Help individuals access their communities, attend events, and pursue favorite activities.
• Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation, medication, personal care, hygiene, and outings.
• Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs.
