About The Position

Heritage Homes, Inc. is hiring a full-time Direct Support Professional to support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in its residential program in Holland, Michigan. The position is scheduled for the second shift, 2 PM to 10 PM, for 40 hours per week. Starting pay is $18.80 per hour; higher pay may be available based on experience. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for this position and is paid in increments; applicants should ask for details. No prior experience is required, and paid training and ongoing support are provided.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, drug screen, and TB test.
• Compassionate and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, daily living, and medication administration; training is provided.
• Support residents in community and home activities.
• Promote residents' independence, safety, and well-being.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with residents.
• Help individuals achieve their personal goals.
