About The Position
Keystone Human Services is seeking a casual/per diem Direct Support Professional to provide individualized, person-directed support to adults with intellectual disabilities. The organization’s work focuses on inclusion and building communities where everyone can thrive and fully participate in society. The role supports people in creating a healthy and engaging home setting, developing daily living skills, receiving personal care, and maintaining health and wellness. Casual/per diem hours are available at $20.50 per hour. The job description provides a general overview and is not a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications.
Requirements
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications.
Responsibilities
- Create a healthy and engaging home setting for the adults supported.
- Teach and assist with daily living skills.
- Assist with personal care.
- Advocate for the health and wellness of the people supported.
